We are proud to officially announce that Matt Mabey will be our speaker for this years camp. We are all very excited and Matt is as well.
Matt Mabey hails from just down the road from Simpson Park in Romeo. He and Joelle, his wife of 21 years have four teenagers; Zach, Aaron, Noah and Micah.
For 17 years he served as a youth and young adult pastor, children’s pastor and lead pastor as an ordained minister in The Wesleyan Church. He currently directs sales and marketing for an educational firm that provides tutoring to underprivileged students in public and charter schools in 41 states.
Over 10 years ago he twice served as Simpson Park’s children’s evangelist. His greatest fear in coming to camp is feeling very old when he runs into young adults who were in the children’s program when he was last there.
